My wife and I were both raised in church. Jamie was saved at a young age but I did not get saved until I was 17. My wife and I met while attending Bible college and working in children's ministries.
I felt at the age of seventeen, God was calling me to work with children. While in college, I worked bus ministries and children's churches. In 1997 Jamie and I married and continued in these ministries. Then in 1999 we moved to Texas and continued working in bus ministry, children's church, and Sunday school classes. God closed the door at this church and we moved to another church and continued serving. While serving in this church, God gave us the opportunity to begin working with teens. I quickly fell in love with youth ministry. After serving here for three years, God opened the door for me to become a youth Pastor. I was thankful that the Lord gave us the opportunity to serve with these teens at this church.
In 2009 the Lord opened the door for us to come to First Baptist Church of Judson. During the next several years, our ministry grew and we were able to help many teens. We had one of the biggest blessings and joys when in 2011 we adopted our two wonderful children.
In November of 2014 our pastor resigned. In March of 2015 I accepted the call to become Pastor.
We are excited to see what God has done and will continue to do.
